Nalisha is Ngāpuhi through and through, and living in Tāmaki Makaurau with her whānau, she found her passion and dream through her Te Reo Māori journey.

Reconnecting with whakapapa, and her reo has become a big part of Nalisha’s life in the last few years, and out of covid, where she and her family used labels in their home to practice new kupu, came the idea of kōmiri.
